Servicing Servicing

I have a 1.8 Type S GT and the handbook states servicing every 9000 miles. I had the 1st service done at 9000 but am approaching 14000 now and am not looking forward to having 18000 mile service in the same year as 9000 mile.

Is the 2nd service 18000 as my handbook says or 25000 as I have seen on here?

I think first service at 12500 miles or one year which ever comes first

Should be every 12500 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

(Although mine got serviced at about 9,000 because that was all I had done in a year

Every 12500 so yours will be at 21500.

I think the handbook has both the Civic and the S2000 servicing details in it. The 9000 mile service is for the S2000 the bit below it should say 12500 for the Civic both under the 1st service area.

Cheers everyone, just phoned Honda and they confirmed 12,500 miles or 12 months.

It was done at 9000 in January so I have till 21500 or next Jan before spending a small fortune again, good job as I am doing 300 miles a week
