[Options] Want a Good Quality Detacheable Towbar At a Bargain Price

If any members are after a good quality towbar (detacheable Towball)with electrics,at a bargain price for there civic, log onto the following site eurotowbar - buy towbars online - export worldwide I paid £89 plus £15.00 postage total £104.Ithought i would share this info with you civc owners.Ive fitted mine no problems.You wont get this price anywhere,ive been searching for months for a descent price one.

Can you post some pictures of the fitted Towbar.
Eurotowbar shows lots of nice car pictures but none with the Towbar fitted.

photos show the towbar has it will look fitted,you can detach the swan neck,by unbolting the two pins,the electrics would still be fitted,but im sure you could make them detacheable,has they will pull out from the bracket sideways,just need some kind of detacheable plug on the wiring.Not perfect solution but the best at the price,and im sure further inprovements you could make so it doesnt show as much.

1.4 SE Add ons front fog lights,dummy triangular exhaust trim,16 inch alloys,metal pedal trim,blue ambient lighting,detacheable towbar,looks just like a proper civic now(Why Honda skimped on the trim on the 1.4 SE is not very clever of them,people dont want a stripped down version. Hi..

Just ordered the removable towbar from the site. Well spotted.

I've been thinking about putting one on my Civic for some time as I have a trailer and I'm renovating my house and since buying the civic have stock piled loads of rubbish which I need to get rid of. Old boiler, carpets, wood etc, etc.

So I'm off on leave for two weeks from tomorrow so I'll have time now to fit it.

How hard is it to fit DIY even with the instructions..?

Any tips for me to make it plain sailing when fitting..?

Your help would be much appreciated in advance..

youve done a great job there fitting that tow bar - and what a price!!!

I had one fitted at honda redhill few months back to mount a bike rack on and ( the other half!!) paid £400 to have it "supplied and fitted!" ( my dad died!!! never paid more than abot £100 for any of the tow bars for his many vehicles over the yrs!!)

and get this - you did a better joh than honda guys !! they had told me they would have to cut small gap in middle of back skirt for it t come out from under the car but what a hash they made - my 6 yr old could have cut it cleaner and tidier

Just had my euro towbar fitted by a local towbar guy. What a great job they made. Nice n neat.
The detachable swan neck towbar is just the job. Just a small 50mm x 50mm cut to the lower section of the bumper hardly visible when removed.

Total cost supplied and fitted £195..! Beat that Honda Stealers..!
