Whats a good price ?

Hey,

I'm thinking about a Type S at the moment NHBlack.

Dealer quoted 16,000 for standard "S"

Thats mats,12 month tax, first reg and all that jazz.

Is that a tad much or about right.

Anybody got any views on Drive The Deal ?

Cheers....

I assume that the diesel?

I was initially looking at drive the deal and buycar aswell. A few members on here have used them. I wouldnt have any worries with going through them. Although i wouldnt get someone to drive it up, i would collect!

Yeah...whats the story with delivery for us Scots.Prob costs a packet to get it here unless you drive it up yourself.

No way i'd let someone else thrash it.

You will find even private sales are alot more expensive up here. I am traveling down south to get my car on monday. Its better that way.

I would say 16grand is pricey. Look at Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTEC Type S 3dr Hatchback New UK car

Take this into your dealer and see if he will match this (he will laugh and will def not match it but see what his best price is)....

That site is a little odd. I selected Royal Blue Pearl, the on the next screen it asks for a tick on pearl paint adding another £380 again for the paint, and red is a £375 option
