Smile [Delivery time] Swedish Civic

Hi everyone,

Just to keep the international theme of the site here are the votes from the Swedish jury

I ordered my Civic Type R GT, Milano Red from a dealer in Stockholm on 5th May. Got a call today saying it will be ready to be picked up on 20th May, I think that is a pretty good delivery time especially when they quoted 2-3 weeks, so they were pretty spot on.

I will post pictures as soon as I get my grubby hands on it.

Also planned a few upgrades

1) Heated seats, boy are they needed here in the winter
2) Speaker upgrade
3) Ambient lighting
4) Interior red lighting
5) Find a good place for my Tomtom

Think that is it to start with

Nice choice,

Which dealer?

A good place for the GPS, you might just find what you need here:

Hi oslpag!

Here are the votes from the Norwegian jury;
Sweden six points - Norway twelve points.
Please ignore that!
Niiice purchase, exellent colour for the CTR!
I'm looking forward to see the pictures.
One question though - doesn't the CTR come with heated seats as standard on the scandinavian market, like the other 'less powerful' Civic's does?
If not, I find it strange, I am aware of there are 3 different versions of the CTR though, but I thought the whole range (atleast in Swe/No/Fi) had this device.

I thought heated seats would be standard as well as you say they are standard in every other car in the Nordics. However I was told they are not available on the CTR due to the seats, we will see if they have them when I pick it up on the 21st, watch this space.

I think Autopunkten were good. It took us about 2 weeks before we got our car. Mind you they already had it in stock. Look forward to getting the GT pack added soon and some alloys, hopefully just after "midsommar" . Quick question about detailing (waxes etc...) what do you use and where do you get it in STHLM? OKQ8 Globen got a good range but I'm looking for that ultimate shine?

Seems there are a few of you guys on the site, you should have a little meet. The Greeks have done it!

Good choice of car and colour. Good luck with the heated seats. I may look at that option, if I change the interior to leather as boy its needed in this part of the world too when the weather gets a bit chilly

From reading the posts on this forum it seemed like the most popular choice so I thought I would try it out.

I totally agree!
There is a thread already in the *Meetings* topic about the subject!
Have a look here, my Scandinavian neighbours!
Nordic / Scandinavian Meet
We are trying to gather enough happy civicpilots to realize a meet sometime this summer!

For the notice here in Denmark heated seats are not an option

by the way Denmark is also a part of scandinavia, but Finland is not

I got mine from Chevrone, and I found them to be quite good, even though some things were missing/didn't work as they should.

I wonder if the peeps in the UK get anything similar?
