Smile Very Impressed with my Dealer

I don't if it is because I deal directly with the owner of the dealership as he speaks English or what but, today I took my car in to have the tyres changed and just happened to mention that my windscreen made the screeching noise and that there was a fix for it from Honda. He told me not to worry and he would get the 'boys' to sort it out. I wasn't convinced to be honest.

Picked the car up 4 hours later and what a difference. The squeak and rubbing noise had gone and the car seemed a whole lot more solid! They told me that when the screen is installed in the factory there is what I think, and bear in mind I am translating this into English, a spacer or something that the boys in the factory forget to remove - they remove it and it seems better.

I also mentioned the problem with opening the door sometimes with the remote and they had a look and I have no idea what they did or if they did anything but the car seemed to open more easily when I went to it than normal - I had actually forgotten about that when I picked the car up.

He told me quite openly about the handbrake problem and said they would be doing something about it soon - the only problem over here is Poles don't use the handbrake so it isn't such an issue.

I have to say that I am really happy with my dealer and his professionalism and customer service - especially as we live in Poland!

It's just a shame that they aren't in the UK, isn't it?

Today I received a phone call from the service manager from my dealer just checking that everything was ok with the car and especially the windscreen as they did some work on it back in May.

Again I am very impressed with them and so is my wife who is now considering getting a new jazz next year just based on the customer service we are receiving.

Have to say they are proving to be first rate dealers

they put it in gear and if they happen to remember they put the handbrake on but that is very rare, indeed.

Forgot, or perhaps not told to remove it ?

This sort of thing only adds to the perception of UK build quality. Along with the underbody packing that we understand is another 'oversight'.

I wonder what else will come to light ?

Ohhh yes, I can vouch for this! Given the time it took for me to teach my girlfriend to use the handbrake!! Apparently her Dad told her "handbrakes are for losers".

Given my experience of Poland, that is really impressive. As much as I love the country, customer service is, sadly, a long way down their list of priorities!

Now to find a good one here...

Yep, when I spoke with my dealer about the handbrake issue he told me that he knew about it but seeing that polish people don't use them it isn't such a big problem in Poland .

Yes you are right customer service is not something that comes easy to polish people and so to find a place that rates it so highly is quite unusual. It's getting better but it will be a few more years before it's common place

Now to find a good one here...
Regards the handbrake I remember walking into my father in laws garage and happening to touch the car and it moved - I was very surprised .
