Don't want to be alarmist.(is that a word?)
Having suffered at the hands of a Mazda Main dealer..........
Lets get this clear 1st Service with a couple of minor fixes and they had your car 6 days .........and they didn't ring or return calls as requested towards then end Then when they are ready, the service manager is all sweetness and light with free service. Go outside now and check your car for body repairs. This happened to a friend of mine after the tech who did the service stuffed his car on the after service road test. If you don't know what to look for take it to a reputable body shop in the morning. Don't want to scare you but 6 days could fix a banged up car. If its ok, I apologise but better to be sure than conned |

falkirk12 - youve really been treated badly here. Please do write a very angry letter of complaint to the manager of the dealership and cc it to Honda customer services. This is atrocious, unacceptable and quite frankly taking the p. Fingers crossed for you and please update us when your spaceship is returned to you, you have inspected it thoroughly, and are happy with any work done on it.
Just an open question - can we choose which dealership gets to do the service under honda happiness are we restricted to the one where we bought the car? thanks |

SB Honda in wakefield... while my car was in for the drivers door lock recall they broke my wingmirrors.... whilst it was in for the wing mirrors fixing they broke all the fixings on my drivers side door card... I'm now on with Stratstone Honda in Leeds who are being very awkward about sorting my common shock absorber knock/clunk.
It's not that specific dealer you speak of....i find it's all honda dealers in general... especially when you are younger like me! |

They just fob you off as they presume you are thick if your below 30... you should have seen there faces when i pulled up in a lowered peugeot 206 asking to test drive a Type-R ... they were very reluctant... also suprised again when they realised i REALLY DID want a civic ex and had the 20k.... Got to say... i don't take the rubbish from them anymore like i used to... put your foot down! when they broke my civic twice...both times i turned up on a sunday morning and refused to leave the showroom while it had been fully fixed or else trading standard would be providing me with a case file...which...has also been done before...i got a free spoiler and set of alloy wheels fitted! |

I turned up in a 5 series BMW and they didn't want to give me the time of day!!!!!!!! Saying that my dad went to buy a New Style- New - Range Rover Vogue not so long ago and the guy couldn't even come off the phone for 5 seconds to ask us to wait..... just looked over and gestured with his finger...... rude or what!?
So it's not always what you drive or look like. Tom |

I went into a Vauxhall dealer once and all the salemen were sitting in the customer lounge watching football. I was in there a while looking at the Astra (decided it was Dull with a capital D). Not a sign of any interest so I walked out.
Went straight to a Honda dealer and was approached right away and offered a test drive. Bought the car. So up yours Vauxhall!!! |
