Delivery time EX Delivery - Oh dear

After finally agreeing the spec for my new car and trying to order:-
2.2 DSI EX in Milano Red, 18" Storms, Leather, Image Pack, Studio Pack and Concert Pack I find that the delivery will be around March 2007.

I'm told the problem is the glass roof and leather package, without this I can get delivery in December otherwise wait. Honda say the factory wont build the car unless they have a minimum of 10 units in that spec.

I'm going to have to go with the standard upholstery and consider the bespoke leather as an add on

Ah well such is life

At least you have a choice Andy. When I ordered my EX last Feb. the panoramic roof and factory fit leather were not available with it. At that time, the pan. roof was standard fit only on the ES and f/f leather an option only on the SE.
Obviously this did not make any sense, so Honda bowed to pressure and made both of them optional on the flagship EX. - too late for me.
So my EX does not have the pan. roof but I have had bespoke leather fitted.

I was after the glass roof and when I ordered in June was told could have it in December! I dropped it in the end

Wasn't around when I ordered either.

Got the sunshine roof on my little model tho', albeit with no spare wheel!!!

No Pan roof or leather on my EX and still quoted 10 weeks for delivery

Ordered mine in Sept (spec in signature) still on track for early November delivery.

I was going to order my EX with leather interior and glass roof but changed my mind when I found out how long it would be - why six months wait?? Gone for virtually standard spec.

Why not go for bespoke fitted leather? ( see Transform Leather section )
Lots of choice - makes the car special/unique.

I ended up having a standard spec in red after wanting the roof and the leather. It has turned out to be just excellent dont miss any of the other stuff because what you have never had you never miss I guess. Anyway it just done 15000 today and after the normal couple of things (hft and filler cap) both sorted by the dealer its a fine car looks pretty good as well.
I hope you enjoy yours when you take delivery as much as I am doing.

I think the pan. roof and leather seats are overrated, sure they look cool, but you can have whatever leather combo you want from transform and the roofs really just an expensive piece of glass, not like you're missing out on a sunroof or anything.
