You have 3 basic choices at the end of the contract;

1) pay the balloon and keep the car
2) providing the car is within the contract mileage, in a fair condition for its age and you have paid your payments, you can just hand the car back, not owing anything but also not getting anything back
3) trade the car in vs a new/different/bigger/smaller etc etc car. The balloon is set to be below that which the car should be worth (not an exact science obviously) and you should find that you get some equity back out of the car which can be used, along with any other monies you may have at the time, for your next deposit.

options wise, you are allowed anything that is Honda. Start ar$ing about with engine remaps etc then thats where the problems will start.

p.s. your car sounds nice!
My mate Si lives in Essex, he's a member on this site....we have an almost identical car right barr the wheels and a couple of wee bits (at the moment) all the way down to the private plates which differ by three letters at the end. So you may see him driving about like a mad man! Or me taking it easy when i'm in the neck of the woods

Glad you have decided on what you wish to do now....hope it all works out for you and Oh the seat pocket....there is one in the back of the passengers seat so depending on how many you need and what you need it for you may not have to add this as an option to the car.

Yeah knock yourself out on the £25 saving, thats what 20l of petrol ha ha!

He lives in Saffron Walden and a local dealer lives just round the corner from him and usually has a CTR parked outside his house.

You are correct that I live in Scotland and I make the 5 and a half hour journey to see him (as well as some other friends who live down there)

Took the new Renaultsport DCI175 out for a spin a month or so ago...he was encouraging me to go faster!!!

Lol! Jings the car I took out on the test drive had 22 miles on the clock and the dealer said i'll just go up here and open it up (on a quiet road) and he hammered it into V-tec and we were about a mile (if that) from the garage.

These cars as designed to be revved so everyone keeps saying and your not going to buy a car that doesn't do what it says it should would you now? So yes they are always ragged
