Buying new Civic

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to buy a new Type S/GT I-SHIFT and SAT. Always on the lookout for a bargain I have been searching the 'net' looking for the best deal.

One question I have is has anyone purchased succesfully a new car through one of the "brokers" that promise to sell to to you cheaper, even though they say that their supply is from a Franchised Honda Dealer and you will deal direct with the dealer to complete the purchase?

Talking to my local Honda Dealer they say they cannot match the suggested 'broker' prices. Doesn't make any sense to me!

Any experiences would be welcome as my other half is very sceptical while I'm considering following it through!
Hope that makes sense.

Cheers,

Mike

Talk to another dealer and haggle hard. I bought my 1.8 EX much cheaper than the internet brokers were offering I simply told the dealer the price I would pay and left them to match it, It took all day and 6 emails but they caved in. So haggle hard and shop around until you find a dealer that will deal at the price you wish to pay.
