I think this will be the first insurance quote in Euros. Be interesting to see how it compares to elsewhere in the Euro zone. I know there's a few members in Portugal?....
Here goes: 1. 1.8 ES 2. €715 Comprehensive (+class 2) 3. Allianz 4. 35 5. 9 6. 5 7. None 8. Dublin city Both myself and my wife are on the policy and I have extra cover to provide indemnity for and equipment I might have in my car that belongs to my employer (class 2 cover). My last insurer wanted €1080 (Hibernian) and I'd been with them on my last car for 4 years incident free!!!!....til it got stolen and written off.... |

Bit of info regarding swift cover ins. I've got mine covered by them and I found out the other day that they do not cover you driving another car - ie a courtesy car. Big pain went I went to get my Civic fixed and couldn't leave it.
Thats all! J |

I thought I should join in:
1. 2.2 EX 2. < £30 ** 3. Royal & Sun Alliance 4. 30 5. 13 years 6. ? 7. None, once had threat of DWDCA, did 2 day driver improvement course instead. (bloody cyclists, getting in the way) 8. Bicester ** Thats the benefit in kind cost for my car being insured by my employer. Its my car, but I get a car allowance towards it and they insure it. |

Here's my info, note it includes Class 1 business use, 18,000 miles a year + cover for wifey and lastly protected NCB and 1 claim 3 years ago for a scrape down the side caused by a moronic old crone in a Rover.
1. 1.8 ES 2. £406 3. Adrian Flux 4. 32, wifey is 26 5. 15years 6. 15years 7. None 8. Cheltenhamshire Should be cheaper next year when I do not have to talk about the claim. |

1. 1.8 Ex
2. £320 3. Local broker 4. Over 45! 5. Around 40 6. 65% 7. None - I hope to keep it this way. 8. Preston Lancashire One thing to note - Your postcode can make a huge difference to your insurance cost. Try Swiftcover.com, get a quote for your car with your correct postcode then try changing the postcode and get a requote. By changing my postcode to one that is 1.5 miles away the quote changed from around £260 to £190! The cost listed at five above is for a better all round deal than offered by Swiftcover. |
