less regional variations etc.

EX 2.2
£395
Admiral
35 yo
18 years
9 years NCB
SP30 3 points
Epsom

Strange my insurance more than most, 395 was best average about 500

Other points are Basegreen won't have protected NCB, I have another driver to add and my policy is protected NCB and extra legal cover.

I was very surprised at the price as I was expecting/preparing for around £350.

Last weeks Fifth Gear had a report on how to get a lower quote. Their example kid was only 18 and he had just bought a Daihatsu Charade.

But I suppose if you need some basic tips go and have a look.

Just got my insurance from Swiftcover.com. One good thing about them is that it is all electronic, hence, the Motor Insurance Certificate is a pdf file on line and you can save it or print it out immediately. No waiting for the post or taking up Honda's offer of 7 days free.

TPFT doesn't save you much on a new car.

Definitely fully comp. We're told there are thousands of un-insured drivers

on the road. So it your only TPFT ,and somebody clobbers your nice new

Civic and drives off ---------
