Is it just me, or does the black look like the most boring color of these? I now kind of regret my decision. I've been thinking about having a smooth dark red gradient painted across the car to make it slightly less boring (making it look as if it were "glowing", you know), but I dunno. It could just as well look incredibly corny that way. I have to experiment with Photoshop to see what it would look like.

i disagree, i think black is one of the best looking colours, especially with 18 inch storm alloys. however it looks dirty very easy so u need to clean it alot.

When the black is clean, it does look nice. Apart from the grey trim

kevin_lufc is absolutely right. You have to learn to let go.

It's not that bad once you stop staring at the plastics.

i agree with basegreen actually. the grey trim does spoil the look of the civic. especially on lighter colour cars!

the new type r doesn't have it, so did do we?

The Civic will be a big seller, so I imagine it won't be long before the aftermarket body kit people offer replacement painted bits to replace the acres of external grey plastic. Plain painted equivalent bits (ie not "sports" funked up body kit) might just get me interested.
