Trade sales

I see Trade Sales in Slough have some of the latest Civics, which is a bit surprising as they usually get the old run out models cheap. If a batch of used cars came on the market at a good price I would have expected the dealers to want them.

I reckon about a grand cheaper than a dealer. I believe the car supermarkets aim for about £500 profit on their cars, which fits with main dealers aiming for at least £1500. No haggling though, and what you see is what you get.

Now if they had a Champagne Silver ES I would go there.

now now mr basegreen, just remember the dealers need to make a bit of profit, and pay the vat man and be able to offer demonstrations (car, fuel, and insurance) and have warm/cool showrooms and employ friendly staff.

Are these all the ex-demo fleet? The early demo model I drove rattled and sqeaked like an old peugeot...

As for dealer mark up, 9250 on the trade-in on my last car on the forecourt 2 days later for 11900 and I only paid 11.6k for it new!!!
