Honda Happiness
When I recently ordered my 2.2D EX, I was told that the Honda happiness could be included for a fee of £500. Upon deciding which civic to order, I was informed of the twenty week delivery time which took me into February 2006. Because of that fact I would be receiving the car in the New Year I was told that the Honda happiness could not be included because Honda might remove this offer during the next quarter! Have any of you, kind ladies and gentlemen come across the same situation, and if so how have you got around this problem? Thank you for advices Kerry |

That's pretty strange. I am getting the impression that quite a few things will be changing in 2007. A lot of dealers are keen to get the sales in before year end as there will be "trading terms changes" next year. Quite who is trying to pull a fast one here, I don't know.
Does seem a bit unfair. Surely if you paid for the servicing now, you'd be able to secure it. Honda's inability to deliver in a reasonable time should not preclude you from taking part in this promotion. I would consider upgrading my SE to an EX, but because the package is not transferrable, I'll be £500 down so I won't bother. The inflexibility of this has basically cost them a sale. Take note HUK! |

Unless of course you get it included in the original order, in which case you could take them to a small claims court to make them honour their offer. Otherwise, forget it. As far as I am concerned, anything Honda offers that is not tied down in a contract is worthless. |

Hmmm, Very good point - I have been verbally offered the package on my Diesel. I will pop in tomorrow and offer to pay for it now, before the car arrives - or at least get it in writing. |
