Smile Gone and done it

Yesterday afternoon I had a nice test drive in a 1.8 EX. The local dealer was very good and had no desire to accompany us in the car.

I would have like the extra toys in the EX but in the end I decided I could not justify the cost (other bills to pay...) so I went for the ES instead.

As luck would have it one of the ES's in the showroom was my favourite colour, Galaxy Grey, so I could have that one by Friday They gave me a pretty good price for my 10 year old Escort and included the mats and a space-saver spare wheel.

Just three more days to wait...

Nice one, and amazingly fast delivery date! When you consider some poor peeps are waiting months for theirs it's quite a result.

Luckily I decided I wanted and ES and they had at least two of those in the showroom. If not the wait would have been no fun at all.

I think buying the showroom model is a good plan IMO, esp if you get something off it.

I love my ES and like most didn't go the whole hog to the ex for financial reasons.......just remember unless EX people pay extras they don't get to look at the stars through a panoramic sunroof with automatic sun blinds!!!
(do a fab air hostess style thing of the pan sr with auto sb...u need to see it too believe it )
