I had a 307 D-Turbo, this is what happened to it during November 2003 - that was a really unreliable car, which I couldn't sell due to the problems, so the only way I could see out was to order another Peugeot, after all the supplying and repairing dealer couldn't refuse to trade in a car they said was fine now could they?

Anyway before the new one turned up (a 307 CC 180) the old one caught fire one night, Peugeot did an investigation and felt that it was due to my Panasonic GPS and/or Nokia car kit, however as a goodwill gesture without prejudice they refunded my money (well most of it, the cost price of the car) if I maintained my order for the new 307 CC, hence why I got a second unreliable car from them - if I didn't maintain the order for a new car they were by the sounds of things going to leave me high and dry.

My mistake was thinking the new car couldn't possible become a lemon also.

A year later they kept on sending me a recall for my old burnt out car which as it explained 'in rare circumstances can cause an engine compartment fire' - funny that, didn't think it had anything to do with my car kit or GPS.

Hi Honda Tiger

It was a toss up between Milano Red of Blueish Silver. I'm afraid Red won hands down. It's a shame about the black wheel arches but hey, you can't have everything.
