Price

Hi everyone,
I recently ordered the 2.2 D EX in night hawk black with leather upholstery and glass roof, the total cost for this was £19300. Would this be the ball park figure everyone else is paying or have I been done? I know its too late now anyway, but I was just curious.

Can't wait for delivery.

Did you not haggle them as youve paid them the full rrp price basically. You should of been able to get them down to the low £18k mark. Which is what i got them down to before i decided to get the type s version.

When did you order it?

price

Yes I haggled till I was blue in the face!
I tried to play one garage off against another (4 in all) but everyone stayed with the same price.

i used the drivethedeal.com price to get my dealer to come down in price. As soon as i said i would just buy it from the internet they started to make me offers and eventually i got them to within £300 of the internet price. Which was £1000 off the official rrp price.

Anyway its done now and im sure once you have the car you will love it and not even think of the money its cost.

You can't JUST order the leather seats by themselves, for £1,200 you get the leather seats and the glass roof. You can however, get the glass roof for about £600. Good luck!

For the Diesel with the glass roof and seats i would think you have good a fair price...not great...but not bad. I would be happy enough and it will be worthwhile when you get handed the keys!

Lukather, you're correct on the petrol v diesel price, diesels always command a premium over their petrol counterparts. I tried both but the diesel won me over with the masses of torque.

When do you get the car Kerry?

When

Hi Paddy,

Have to wait until 1/3/07. I was told the minimum delivery date would be around 20 weeks, so that took me up to middle of feb 07. Told them I may as well wait until the 2007 plate. I keep popping in and out the garage just for a quick look, just can't wait.
Spoken to some civic owners in the area and they all seem thrilled with the cars the chose. Presume your pleased with yours?
Regards
Kerry

Well after reading through this site for the last 2 weeks am beginning to wonder if I too have been 'done' by my local dealer. Did go through the whole haggle process, with 2 or 3 internet quotes and 2 local garages, unfort they smuggly know these cars are sellling themselves !

Also a 20 week wait for 2.2 CTDi EX Nighthawk, with glass roof, satnav/btooth,rear camera, blue lighting, door garnish (Studio pack) @ £19,200, £300 more than lowest internet price, but prefer local dealer. Will be an 07 plate. Ripped off or reasonable >>>???

Can't coment on the Diesel's but the deal we got
from our local dealer was good enough to make us sign on the
dotted line

Galaxy Grey1.8 i-vtec with i-shift, leather, fogs and set of mats
came to £17035 but we got in for £16230

just hope I get as good a deal with the CR-V
