In that case, if I were you, I'd ring the Dealer and tell them some people are getting it included and some aren't she's adamant (as is her husband) that she paid nothing for it.
Guess we'll see when she gets it... Good luck Type S Bournemouth P.S. Your Type S GT sounds amazing and the colour, well it certainly has the WOW factor - gorgeous!!!!!! Last edited by JPDirect; 24th November 2006 at 18:18. |

yes i am going to contact my dealer now anyway as if some people are getting it anyway then so should i but then did they use that to haggle on the price of the car as i got a good discount off the price of mine.
But if it was standard fit then all the type s in the showroom would have them fitted and they dont. Thats whats confusing me now. |

Maybe it was a one-off. If they had, I can't see why you can't get it done. Don't know if it's an accessory or dealer fit though. |

no i had to battle like anything to get them to drop there price. It took me to walk away from there showroom and say ill get it elsewhere that got them phoning me back desperate for a sale. Once i went back to them they agreed to the price i wanted. But i didnt want to push my luck and ask for extras as well. But perhaps I should have done. But then they have pretty much matched the internet prices so thats not bad in my opinion.
Im really not that fussed about having the auto dim mirror. Yes if it does come standard in the end then great but i wont be crying if it doesnt which is what im expecting |

Good for you!
If you got a better deal than my friend and you saved much more than the cost of that rear view mirror than you're doing well. However, if you don't ask, you don't get - right?!?! Let me know how you get on. My ONLY regret is that they didn't have the colour you ordered when I oredered mine back in April. Yours will be superb! |
