What mpg are you getting from your diesel

Hi All,
New to the forum and in the market for a new civic diesel. The 2.2 diesel looks fabulous, power and economy. What can any owners tell me about engine noise and economy.
I have a 150 bhp Seat diesel leon at the mo which is powerful but can sound rather noisey when pushed.

**cough** 38/40mpg, i'd say my heavy right foot was a medical condition, or my choice in footwear was to blame....but alas it is not. The engine can be noisy when you put the foot down, its not overly annoying, has a nice enough sound to it, when cruising steadily its virtually silent.
