2007 here.

Nothing yet, not fuel filler cap either (though I did tuck in the wire so it wouldn't get caught till now)

Also my dealer told me about how the wire on the filler cap can get caught, and I replied that the first time it gets caught with me I'm cutting the wire off. It's serving no purpose anyway.

Come on Guy's any more 07 owners out there ??

Or is everyone waiting on their cars

So Far no problems ( query fuel cap thingy)

It would be interesting to know and to see if Honda had finally got a handle on building this designer item

2007 My

My civic is 2007 MY. I have not noticed any bugs so far, almost nothing except misaligned boot door. It seems that there is an improvement or I just have a luck as I always have when it comes to buying cars. In general, I am very satisfied.

Fuel cap problem on my 2 weeks old car. Nothing else yet. My car is now at the dealer to solve the problem. It also has to do someting with the temperature. My dealer told me that there were 6 Civics back this week with the fuel cap problem, at it can been solved easy. Just a small modification and the problem had to be gone.

Hey Brodick-

The fuel filler cap is playing up- Deffo the rubbery / silicony tether catching- To heck with the dealer, I think scissors time is nigh (as soon as I can get the feckin' thing open again, that is... ).

The radio is a worthless piece of cr*p! It's as though there is a bargain-basement RDS setup out there which will display radio stations but won't retune- It costs 6 Yen, manufacturers love it (You can fool some of the people some of the time....)

When I was young and foolish (and flush with cash- Amazing how rich you are when you live at home!), I installed a Becker Mexico head unit in my Espace- Terrific device it was, actually had 2 separate FM RDS tuners, whichever was not "playing" was always searching, seamless transitions- Also had a cracking SW tuner built in- Happy days...

Anyway, those are really my only beefs, apart from sluggish windscreen demisting. Otherwise the Civic is a very, very fine machine, only let down IMHO by marketing prerogatives (half-baked start button, but with real key to insert and turn), and the need to keep the whole package competitive- That being said, it almost always feels like a bigger, more grown-up, more expensive car than it is. Works for me!

Same here.. 2 weeks, and so far so good.
Only problem was when I bought car and had 4 people in, and I could hear some squeaks from rear left side over bumps. Will have car back to dealer soon anyway to fit some extras that are late, so will make them check it.

Using both Auto and manual (changing with both gear lever and paddles). There is a learning curve to go through with I shift, thought in man I would use paddles in the main, but using the gear stick much more than I thought. Auto takes some getting used to, but once I learned to read what the car is doing it is nice to use, especially in traffic. Only had the car 2 weeks, but loving every minute.
