Warranty warranty? What's that!!!

Can anybody please tell me what terms you have signed up for in your contract for the civic?
What I mean is guarantees, liabilities etc.
I’m asking cos after a 9 month wait for my civic form the only agent here in Malta I was given a contract that does not mention any warranty. When I asked the dealer about it he said it was the standard document.!!!

Please even a simple " two years" answer will do,
i'm going to contest the contract, but i't like to know what i should be fiughtting for.

Well I have a three year warranty, but it may be different in Malta. It doesn't mention the warranty on my Invoice which does list everything else.

The warranty is detailed in the Honda Service book so ask to take a look at that.

First of all thanks for reply.

Yeagh i asked before i ordered. but now that i'm sighning things they are just beating around thew bush without giving an answer.
it's pissing me off.
and the fact that i'm seeeing myh car there but can't get it out without getting screwed is even more irritating.

I dont see why they wont give you a straight forward answer, why dont you ask a friend to call them pretending to be a potential buyer and ask them "does the new Civic come with a warranty, if so, how long?"

But as I said (after I edited the previous post)!! it is all detailed in the service book, so if you are in doubt ask to look at that.

As far as I know the usual waranty certificate is given with the car. Here in france i'ts a three years waranty up to 100 000 Km (about 90 000 Miles) for the car mechanic and you can buy a two more years warranty (must be the same all over europe..)

I’ll quote the site and make sure they give me something signed stating that the European warranty is valid for Malta too. ( We’re in Europe now J)
