Honda sent me a 'reminder' that my 3 year warranty will be up soon. They have a special price of £299 for the next 12 months, is this a good deal is it really worth forking out for at all as I've only had one issue in the last 12 months and that was a false warning light issue. What does it really cover?
Car is currently on about 36k miles in the next 12 months I'll probably cover another 12k miles. |

Go for it,but I think it was down to £256 not long ago.
The full rescue cover is included, as when you bought the car. My Dealer informed me :- it's all as the original, but although the sat nav is covered, the radio is not.( We all know why, with that one). Less wearable parts of course. Do a search, I believe one of the members has a list. |

Depends which one it is you are going for - I got the HF2 with the Honda Breakdown - two years was circa £800 (provided FOC thankfully) but it is the most comprehensive one afaik.

in about to sign up for 12 months through Henry's Honda in glasgow for £250 split into 10 payments of £25. ...
is the deal at ashford in kent a honda warranty or is it provided by that garage and underwritten by someone else? Phoenix car group offered me a deal for £690 for 3 years for my honda and went to great lengths to avoid telling me it was not provided by honda, but that it covers all the wearable parts in my honda and only when i cornered the salesman did he tell me it was provided by someone else ... the fact he went to such great lengths to disguise the warranty provider/underwriter made me go elsewhere - i wont deal with a garage that sets out to deceive!!! |

£391 for 24 months? I was told £391 was the regular price for 12 months, which until the end of June was on offer at £250 - but I couldn't extend for 24 months at £500 (worth a try!) - it would have been a lot more. |

HF2 is the Honda Scheme(?) code - identifies the particular Honda Warranty that you are getting. |

Yup, it is the top Warranty offering from Honda afaik.
You did well to get it half price (or 12 months extra free) though |

Phoenix Honda in Stirling gave me a sheet of paper the other day offering 12 months Honda Happiness extended Guarantee for £250 or 10 months @ £25 per month (usual price £399.60) which also included top AA cover inc European assistance. It also states the warranty is direct with Honda and not any 3rd party.

When you think about it you spent £391 but got exactly zero benefit from it. Reading through this thread from the beginning....i think £250 for only 12 months warranty is bordering on extortionate. I would never pay this amount for a measly 1 year warranty.....would rather take my chances and pay for anything if and when it happened. |
