Delivery time Milano red Delivery Time

Hello Everybody,

Last week I went to my local dealer, to check with im some material problems and to confirm the delivery date. And surprise, Instead of being delivered week 51 or 52 there is a "No Date" written in honda order book...
My dealer was a bit ennoyed (and me furious...) so he check with the area sales manager from honda france in Paris. Guess what, he told him that there is a problem at the moment the the Milano red color and that Swindon are closing at the end of the (last) week for christmas

. So he was unable to give us answer before first or second week of January about the estimated delivery time.

I've Ordered my car at the end of October. So could you give me what are the average delivery time for an Milano red i-ctdi without "special" options (Executive continental version).

Do you think if i ask my dealer to change the color, it could shorten the delivery schedule ?

What are your experience about that ?

I had the same problem in Ireland - however I was told I couldn't have red as Honda said the colour was not going to be available here full stop.

Ordered NHB instead and expecting car in March.

Amazing, isn't it? You spend £17K+ of your hard earned money and you feel their reaction is : 'Oh no! Not another one wants to know when they're getting it! Don't they understand we're trying to run a car manufacturing business here!!!'

After all, you're only the customer

I waited my Milano Red for almost 9 months and been driving with it now for 2 months. Not so many are same colour and I like it!

I told the dealer I was prepared to wait too so that I got exactly what I wanted!!!!! Even that wasn't good enough, hence the tale of Red not being available AT ALL in Ireland.

You can get 17" Storms though so not all bad news!
