Trade in Price!!
I was driving past my local Vauxhall dealership today and saw a black Astra estate with tinted windows, I decided to take a look as I liked the look of the car, I don't really want an estate but only had one dog when I got the Civic and now I have two so although they fit in the boot, they dont have alot of room.
Trade in price for mine!!! £9,500 Or maybe they heard about my moaning to Honda and were trying to scare me away |

Astras are terrible cars. I had the mispleasure of driving them a lot a while ago, and they have tons of problems, drive like dogs and are built worse than any Civic. Seriously.

I think a Vauxhaul dealer is going to give you bottom dollar for a Civic; they don't want it on their forecourt so they will need to move it on quickly which means cheaply.
I also agree with Bungle, the Astra looks OK but thats about it. |

that will teach you
Before Topcat started moaning i was offered £12,500 against a trade price deal on another new car.
Wonder what I would get know? That will teach me to join her in the moaning The civic has its fault's but I must agree with Bungle I have driven and delivered a lot Astra's would never own one. The Civic is much better we also own a Corsa which is a great car |

Well I will be keeping the Civic anyway, I was just curious as to what the Astra was like inside and the idea of a bigger boot for Ralph and Ed (thats the dogs not the kids) seemed like a good idea at the time.

There are loads and loads of used 2006 registered Civics for sale on the Honda website, I find that worrying that people are getting rid of them so quickly? Some have only been registered a couple of months!!!

Hmm, saying that I notice Arnold Clark seem to have a lot of Civics for sale at very good prices. I might be purchasing one from there but I'm going to double check it's history before I commit. Was originally going to go for a Diesel, but still a big difference in price from what I've seen (about £1k-£1.5k in the used prices). I should add, there's very few people selling the new civic privately on Autotrader (a national search came up with 9 cars from £13.5k-£17k)
