Part ex Help me guys what do you reckon ill get and pay for a new civic?

As a lote of you know im only 17 but drive a honda civic 1.4 dsi with alloys, parking sensors, foglights, chrome accessories, tweeters and superguard.
mileage 3500
mint condition

anyways i have found out the insurance we are paying is a rip off and all going well if i do well in my mocks im allowed to get a 1.8ex with leather and sunroof.

so what do you guys reckon i will get for my car trade in or pirvate sale? and also how much could i get off the ex with thos extras?

thanks for any help, if you can recomend any good dealers it would be good too.

You might get a better price if you sell privately, but also, great deals can be done with a P/X from a dealer. Phone a few, tell them exactly want you have and what you want.
I did this when I traded in my last Civic. The price my local gave me was laughable, so I phoned the next closest, and the immediately offered a grand more for the car!

As for price, I really don't know. Get a couple of quotes, though.

well glasss guide sed 13000 but thats without some of my extras so i would guess 13500, i will speak to my local one but it would be good to know who got the most off where

you wont get any extra for the extras from a dealer, only a private sale.

How much did you pay in the first place? speaking from experience you don't normally get much money for extras, they are nice creature comforts for you but the next man might not like so don't expect much there. Cost new of your car at the moment is £14k so I very much doubt you will have someone pay £13.5 for one second hand, no matter how good condition it is.

Next look in autotrader etc. they will give you a more realistic street price for a car e.g. this one I found.....

This is a dealer selling the car so that will be there top end price and if I was buying second hand I'd look to get between a monkey and a grand off that price. Tops out at about £12,995 but for the same money I can find a 1.8.

My local dealer has several 1.8 EX with less than 10k miles for less than £16k, there you go, your car sold and your 4K spent

i would if needed get a used one but i would like the glass and leather neither of which i canfind used on autotrade or honda website

well to be honest there was a little bit of a struggle but they came ot the price we wanted and wernt willing to return the deposit.

I hope in future i can get you some bussiness, i must say to everyone, no bull***ing they were quik, i named a price and they said they could do it in 30 mins over the phone, by far the best dealer i have delat with so far.
