Unlucky. My Type S is either at the dealers now, or will arrive on the first working day of the new year.
Do you know if the car has actaully been built yet? Sold to another customer? Damaged in transport? These are the type of questions I'd be looking to have answered. |

im not sure to be honest. They just told me there so far behind cause of huge orders blah blah blah. I ordered in early November. So could be worse. People have waited alot longer.

A delay from a lot of orders? How does that work - surely they go to the end of the queue when they order after you!?
Smells like BS to me. |

well if it drags on to long I will start asking question etc etc etc.
Im wondering if its because ive gone for Deep Bronze which i think will be maybe not the biggest seller as its unusual and everyone tends to go for NHB etc. |

I've heard of this so many times with ST's, the best thing it to keep on top of your dealer and try and get an update of what is happening every week. Get them to confirm your car has been built, where it is at, etc etc. Hope this helps. *d |

Sorry to hear your bad news you must be gutted - I know I would be.This is what I dreaded whilst waiting. Have to agree with other posts in that you should keep on top of dealer and try to get to bottom of such a long delay only 1 week before delivery. Good luck and lets hope its a bit of under promise and over achieve!
It will be worth the wait - I am delighted with mine - No problems so far and never enjoyed a car so much! |

Thats bad new matey, I'd make a phone call (easier to be more assertive on the phone) and find out whats going on. You could always try to bag some dealer fitted accessories as an act of good will!

The Word on the street!
I was talking to someone today who was talking to someone who knew someone who had a friend who had a Sister that worked in Swindon so it’s bound to be true!
The news on the street is that a test driver hit the accelerator instead of the break when bringing a car in from its test drive to the ‘Finishing Machine” mounted it at some speed and broke it! So now they have an issue at Swindon that they can't finish any cars coming of the production line. They have had people in over the 2 week Christmas shutdown trying to fix it This is all hear say and rumour! |
