My car just ordered my 2.2 es

Hi Guys,

just back from my local honda dealer in sunny letchworth. Test drove the vtec back to back with the diesel and have ordered a 2.2 ES. Didn't want to spend as much as i did but didn't want to wait untill March to pick up the SE i would have ordered. The ES was a canceled order and in the colour i wanted "nighthawk black" Due to pick up next friday.....................CAN'T Wait. Beleive i got a good deal £16690 including the metalic. I will keep you all posted

Unfortunately, mine (Type S GT 2.2 with all mod con) has just been put back 3 weeks

Bet someone, probably grinning looking at this, got the one I was supposed to get!

If its any consolation mine has been put back and they cant even give me an exact date. Its now sometime in Feb!!!

Hi Lowfer,
I got mine in Letchworth a week ago, a 3 month old ex-demo car.
I too tried a petrol and diesel back to back, and decided the diesel was the one for me, despite the higher initial cost and higher service costs.
Lovely engine, lovely car!

Got a call today and I may be getting my 2.2 i CTDi EX NHB , blue ambient lights, rear parking sensors early !

picked my car up today and as lovely as i hoped just got to pay for it now. Only thing is i managed to take the paint off drivers side wing mirror when coming through my very skiny drive, this was with mirrors folded. I will be paranoid about coming home in future, guess ill just have to keep driving. Won't get it repaired untill have got tp grips with the width.

""bad"" but i have found out from Topcat that they are £21 plus vat and they come colour coded, so i have 4 for each side on order as the civic is substantially wider than my Audi A2 and suspect it won't be that last time that i do it
