Not unless your dealer is called Nail and he installs it incorrectly

I got Honda rubber mats with my baby and they didn't stink at all. I've always chosen rubber mats in my cars cause they are a lot easier to clean than other materials.

Do anyone of you know how to get rid of that smell
I gave up. I could not get rid of that offensive smell coming from genuine Honda rubber mats. Last week I brought them to a dealer and he admitted that they do not smell nice. He agreed to accept my complain but he said that he would have to contact Honda CS. I have had no replay so far.
I went to A.T.U. shop (german shop selling stuff for cars) and I have bought non genuine rubber mats dedicated for Audi A3. Only driver mat fits good, but the more important to me is that there is no smell, nothing. I regret buying those Honda mats I still can smell that awfull odour cruising in my nose. I think it was the reason they were packed in a plastic bag, to stop spreading that smell around.

Hey, are those anchor plates supposed to be standard? I received Honda rubber mats with the car but there are no anchors.

Btw, I haven't noticed any smell from the rubber.

Yes, the anchors came in the same bag as my rubber mats.

Hmmm... my rubber mats did not come in a bag. They were put in place by the dealer.

Thumbs down

Hmmm... either my dealer was too lazy to install it or then they got the mats cheaper without the anchors. My guess is the latter.

The anchors and mats are supposed to come together. Contact your dealer and ask them.

Maldax, haven't you read every thread on here?

I admit it's a pretty old one.

But only a two min job to fix it and now it's lovely! I always looked at it thinking it was a bit 'wrong'
