Dealer Fit options

Hello All,

Was thinking the other day, do you think that having everything dealer fit bar 18" Wheels/Glass Roof/Leather could be the cause of some of the problems surely Hondas Quality Control goes out the windows if they then let a dealer take the dash out to fit a option before you get your hands on it?

Just a thought

A very good one too, It's very possible, could explain a lot of rattles, creaks and squeeks. As far as i know my dash has never been removed and is very quiet.

There's every chance that the QC isn't anywhere near factory standards, however I might be wrong. I'd be very wary if they were fitting a glass roof, especially when you want to ensure its water-tight.

Most guys seemed to be plagued with the Filler Flap problem.

No dealer fault there, just bad design!

LOL - visions of a dlr with a tin can opener to fit the glass roof...

it is a good point though

Did you know, by the way, that whichever pack it is that includes the side, front, rear skirts and spoiler is also dlr fit?

(which meant my lease co wouldn't let me have it )

I'm sure that there are a large number of very competant dlrs out there who would put everything back together properly - but yes, there are (statistically) a few who might not be so good...

Yip my image pack was fitted yesterday at the dealer, colour coded front/rear splitters and rear spoiler too. I'll inspect it closely on Friday.
