Just like Christmas morning....

6am on a school day and the whole family is up....the boys usually have to be dragged out from under their duvets at 7.30 and we are not much better either This has never happened before in the history of getting up.

There is no explanation for it......

Apart from the fact that I collect my '1.8 EX' today

Really must change 'my' to 'our' but might need extensive therapy to do so!

Hope I am not disappointed........

But who is going to get obsessed with it? And find this site takes up to much of their time?

My G/F knows its MY car not ours.....

One day I may have to get these issues of mine sorted out, hehe.

I don't think you'll be disappointed either and judging by your inactivity everything went to plan! Health to drive!

I know the feeling, my ES is due next week but I want it NOW! Even if its not here in time for next week, the garage have said they'll give me a courtesy car until mines arrived!

Yipee!

Finally collected the 'ex'.....the youngest thinks the sat nav makes it look even more like an alien spaceship and it is 'well cool' - praise indeed.

Collection went better than expected thanks to the info gathered from here.... the tyre sealant had got lost sometime during the valeting so I had to 'request' some more (which they borrowed from another civic).

Unfortunately, the civic car mats which were in place last week had also found another home...probably on eBay! I had to press for some rather scabby replacements. So I am on the look out for some new ones.

Anyway, collection out of the way I slowly proceeded down the M1 at rush hour trying desperately to find the 'reduce brightness' for the sat nav and dash knob which I did as soon as we got home.

I was surprised to find that the rear spoiler actually blocks out other cars headlights....could be good or bad depending on your point of view.

Really impressed with the drive and can see that I will have to 'lose' the spare key and hide mine if I want to keep the little gem to myself!

Looking forward to spending many more hours here.....is there a section for 'addicts'?

I find the spoiler good for that - also a good way of 'seeing' how close the car behind is - if you can see their lights below the spoiler they're too close....

'Our' car is in my name, we've had it 3 months and my hubbie still hasn't driven it even tho he has a key..

Wish there was, my hubbie thinks i'm sad for going on here such a lot...

btw I know you're gonna love your car more and more... what colour is yours? Piccies???
