Is Cosmic Grey Pearl metallic a limited edition colour?
Hello All,
Just want to introduce myself as a possible new civic owner! Can't wait! Just a simple question -- I was offered an '06 "Cosmic grey pearl" car which I was told that its not being used for the 07 models. Now, at first I thought, hmmm, is that cos its not a popular colour and its not metalic? Anyway, the sales person says that its a "limited edition colour" and it is "metallic" -- is he telling t the truth? Just that the honda brochure postfix all colors with "metallic" and isn't stated for the cosmic grey. What do you think? Truth or bull? Thanks Tweedie ps - great forum! |

It's a pearl colour. It is basically metallic, but just has a pearl finish.
Basically you had to pay extra for it, and IMO its a good colour. Hides dirt. |

Cosmic Grey was my first choice but the dealer reckons that it is being phased out during 2007 and therefore not a wise decision.
Went for Galaxy Grey instead. |

I don't think Cosmic Grey was a limited edition, it was a "main choice" colour which has been discontinued. It's for you to wonder why.

I wish I could say that, my current IS200 is pebbledashed. Never had a problem on any previous car to the extent this one has suffered.
I am therefore expecting to get the same on the Civ as water based paints are nowhere near as resilient as the old solvent based. = I hate motorways that are not cleaned properly after they perform maintenance. |
