I know it is a real pi$$er when this sort of thing happens. There should be some consumer law that covers a purchaser for reto-fitting of extras for say 6 month after purchase. Anyway it can't hurt to express your dissapointment to the dealer. I also read somewhere that there may be a free 2year service package in August????? Anyone else heard anything along those lines? Does seem weird when we keep reading that they can't make enough of them to meet demand........ |

This is what happens when you buy a brand new car......but then you do get the benefit of having one of the first models....lots of admirers. I guess you're also the guinee pig, sometimes takes a while before all the bugs get ironed out in production.
Personally, I just don't look at the prices of ANY cars since I got my new Civic. You're bound to end up depressing yourself at some stage. |

WhatCar only seems to mention the saloon model, which is not particularly surprising since I'm sure they haven't been sold as quickly as the hatches.

When I ordered my Civic yesterday, the dealer told me that the fog lights and colour coded rear spoiler is now going to be part of the Sport features.
It was only mean't to be a promotion for their 2nd quarter cars (April, May & June) but from what the sales exec told me, Honda has added these options so that it makes the Sport model look "sporty". Its gutting for those who've bought a Sport without these as they come to about £600. B. |
