Delivery time My Long Wait if Nearly Over

My 4 month wait is nearly at an end although after a compromise.

No joy from my dealer over when I could expect delivery, so I took the bull by the horns and contacted Honda Ireland. Within a couple of hours of the Sales Director reading my mail and responding that he would look into it, I got a call from the dealer to say he would have my car withing 2 weeks!!!

Only snag being I have to forget about getting Ivory leather and go with black instead. The car is another NHB - hoorrayyy!!!!!

Her indoors has the hump over the leather, but I guess you cant have it all your way!

Well done, its been a long wait. Its a shame that the best way to get things done is to go over dealers heads, but if thats the only way its gotta be done.

Hopefully everything else will be fine!

I'm glad your getting your car, will look really nice with the black leather.

At least the black leather will hide the dirt better than the ivory, surely that would please your other half.

I wouldn't be too upset at losing the Ivory, I just see it being a nightmare to keep clean. Good result from Honda Ireland.

I quite agree now - I have been looking at the cars parked up at work and deceided that Ivory would have in fact been a bad idea after all.

Just need to ring up today and confimr my extras and estimated collection date!

Just been on to the dealer - car is in and extras have been fitted.
Waiting now for the 17" Storms to arrive and swap them over and then all set.

Will call in on Saturday to give it a once over and grab the handbook off him to swot up on.

Agreed to collect after work on Thursday the 5th just in time for the Easter Weekend!! YIPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
