I cant wait another week, I want it NOW !!! Sorry for rant, but it is just agonising, combined with fact that my beloved 106 GTi is on its last legs

I really do feel for you that last week does seem to drag, but just hold in there, before you know it it'll be the night before pick up.
I didn't sleep a wink the night before i collected mine, it was worse than christmas eve

I ended up going to the dealers again within the last week before picking up my car, just to sit in the showroom civic (felt good though).

Stealers have just phoned, car will be there Monday, 2 days to fit everything, so picking up Wednesday/Thursday next week....the end is in sight!!

Incidentally, those of you who didnt pay with Honda finance, did you pay via Bankers Draft or other means as I will need to get this sorted soon!

My dealer was cool ! by cheque, thats all but it's in france ...

After transferring the money into my current account from my E-savings account I just paid with my debit card. Bank didn't even call to verify it...

yeah im in your boat - my 1.8 EX comes 1st may - we'll get there somehow because we know the wait is worth it!

Also if you can, I recommend you fit the front,rear and side protection mouldings as well. I cant believe honda dont fit them as standard, but they will definately pay dividends when you are parked in the infamous supermaket car park etc
They also look quite good! check them out out on my car in the gallery.

Console yourself with the fact that you 106 Gti still has *some* legs.

I had loads of trouble with my two, one of them going bang after 35000 miles!!

Just think how wonderful the new car will feel next week.

Just got my reg from stealers...didnt get any choice in the matter, but its not too bad....Wednesday is the day...counting the hours now!!

Im getting really impatient tho!!! Stealers open at 8am might go in that early...
