EX - Has glass roof always meant leather seats?

I'm looking at used EX Civics, and I'm a bit confused.

Does a glass roof always mean you get leather seats? As far as I can tell from the brochures I now have that IS the case, but I've seen some for sale that list glass roof, but not leather seats?

Thanks for any help.

Bernie.

Yeh originally they came as a pair if you specified them. Think this has changed now though.

Thanks, my brochure I think is out of date too, as it only goes to December.

So to start with they had glass & leather as a joint option on the EX, but now you can spec each individually? So older EX with glass roof should also have leather?

The easy answer I know is to call the sellers, but they're dealerships, and dont want to talk to them just yet if I can avoid it!

Exactly right .. older EX models with a glass roof will have leather, newer ones (mine for example .. when it arrives) can have a glass roof without leather.

i wanted the leather seats but had to had to have the glass roof which i didnt want, as i had on one on my last car.

then the dealer says i wouldnt get much back of the £1200 back when i comr to sell it and the waiting lists was another 8 weeks on top of the standard car, so opted for the standard interior.

but when the civic was mentioned it would be made for real, the EX came with leather as standard, so i guess they dropped that to save a few quid on the final production models.

When I bought mine (ordered Sept 06, delivered Feb 07) the options were glass on its own, or glass with leather; there was no option for leather on its own.

Leather certainly was not standard on the EX.

The Honda site gives current specs I'd imagine, which is glass and leather can be ordered apart, but the brochure I have only lists them together. As it's used I'm looking it was a bit confusing.

This time last year when I ordered mine*, I don't think I could even spec leather?
(or I probably would have done)

But my order time might well have been quirky, as it was in the (seemingly) 3 minute window when it was possible to order the Sports Suspension Pack

(which might actually arrive next month! )

* actually exactly 1 year ago today!

I've just ordered my EX wanted leather so glass roof came too for £1200 according to dealer & brochure you can opt for glass roof without leather but not leather without glass roof - a bit strange but the options are odd to my mind anyway.
Originally I wanted a sport but you cant have leather full stop with that!

clear as mud then.

Glass is possible without leather, but leather comes with glass.

And now I hear of a mythical sports suspension pack. That sounds tempting.

Bernie - sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the sports suspension pack was only available as an option for (literally) a month or so.

I ordered mine last March, and it's finally due to arrive "in April".

Although that will be the 3rd or 4th expected date I've been given for it....
And we don;t even know quite exactly what it consists of LOL

I thought I'd misread your ordered on and delivery dates first time around!

I might need to calrify

Civic ordered in March '06, with Sport Suspension Pack

Civic arrived in Aug '06 - without said pack

Suspension was due to arrive in Sept (I decided to take the Civ in Aug and have them fitted later)

Then suspension was put back to October
Then (I think) Jan
Currently due to arrive in April...

So it's just as well I said I'd take it without really

Shame, is it something that other markets have readily available?

I'm waiting del of an EX 2.2CDTi in the next week I'm told, but was told at deposit/deal time could only have leather/glass together not seperately?? didn't want glass so ordered standard interior. There appears to be a lot of double-dealing between dealers/Honda on this matter???

Option : Navsat system +Leather pack (+3500 € !)

Sport : No HID / No dual zone / no glassroof
