I have a date - Wednesday @4pm
Spoke to dealer today.
Car came in at 1pm. Will be ready with studio pack at 4pm this Wednesday. I can't wait!!!! Need to think of the first CD i'm going to play now. Think it might be some time for a bit of Queen. |

Enjoy it - collection day is one to behold! I've got Queen on now and its also in the car - sounds great when its cranked up - although it'll be even better when I get the Infinity speakers in.

Yeah sounds like a good idea.
How are you running yours in? I think i'll be doing as recommened in a few threads here. Which is stay off the motorways for the first few hundered miles and push it a little bit on some smaller country roads. I want to get the best out of it that I can. |

It would appear that Wednesday is a popular one. I pick mine up too (hopefully!)
Not sure what I will play first to 'Christen' the stereo. I've been trying to decide for months! |

Just think of the lack of sleep you will all be getting tonight. Collection day is great, at last the wee beastie is all yours.

Wow, 6 people (including me) picking up their spaceships on Wednesday!
If one more joins in, we'll all be looking like this: We should declare Wednesday the "International Civic Day", or something like that! I'll probably play some Drum 'n Bass first, or maybe some KLF. Or (knowing myself) I'll just forget all my cd's at home because I'm so excited and just listen to the radio... |

Right then. I'm off to drop my Jazz in for an MOT in an hour or so and hopefully should be driving out of the dealers in my new Civic.
It felt a bit like Xmas Eve last night. I had an early night and everything! Fingers crossed. |

Did you do all the paperwork !
that was the big thing the day I collect mine, Get the insurrance paper, cleaning the old car etc... Day was flying so fast that I was ready just in time to collect mine at 5PM thursday 21st of december 2006... I drive very carefully my old pug 307 during 65 km on the motorway to go to the dealer, spend 10 mn with the Administration girl to finish the Paperwork (Certificate of selling my old car, Sign in the register form and do the payment) then spend more than one our with the chief mechanician to do the delivery inspection and to show me how works everithing in the car... So I was late for the Christmass Party of my wife company It still a very good and strong souvenir for me Hope You will enjoy it as much as I did |
