Just ordered my CTR
Having sorted out a NSB FRV 2.2 cdti EX for my wife this month I have today placed my order for a NHB CTR GT with rear parking sensors, premium floor mats and rear parking sensors.
Took a long time agonising over NHB or Silver - part of me wanted the silver as the FRV was going to be black but eventually on a straw poll of people round me, black came out favourite. Going to be some long hard work cleaning them. CTR arrives in July. Piccy's of FRV ![]() ![]() Last edited by spsducati; 30th March 2007 at 15:37. Reason: Added pic's of FRV |

SPSDUCATI, I`ve done it the other way around to you. Ordered myself a nice black CTR GT, due mid May but as our third little `un is on the way the wife is insisting on an FR-V, looking to get one August time. I think they`re great cars, drive well and perfect for the family.
BUT THE CTR IS ALL MINE!!! |

The 3+3 works very well - it is wider and more upright so you fill the depth of the parking space and can feel the size of the vehicle on an open windy motorway! But otherwise its a good performer. The children love it (and so does the dog because the floor is flat) because they can both sit in the front on the way to school and the space is versatile.
We got it mainly to take parents with us. Looked at all the 7 seat options but not sure about what would happen in a nasty rear end shunt with people in the back - very close to the tailgate. Anyhow it was while looking at the FRV when I caught sight of a Type S and instead of going for an XK8 or some other sporty car decided on the CTR for me but with the added bonus of being able to use it for weekend jaunts to the coast with the family too. |
