Full tank on new

Just wondering how many people got a full tank of fuel on their brand new civie?

I have always been told to insist on a full tank as part of the deal which I have with my civic but noticed in the brochure it's part of the OTR cost so how many people actually got a full tank? Have I haggled for something thats normal anyway

I got a full tank when I collected mine, this was without asking / haggling. I certainly didn't expect it as it hasn't happened with any other new car I have bought. A nice touch providing the cost wasnt hidden elsewhere!

Mine came with a full tank too, which I knew about when I bought the car. I bought my last Civic from the same dealer, which was a year old when I got it, and they put in half a tank for me on that.

It is part of the package. I asked my dealer when I picked it up if it was full. He said it was and wondered if I was dropping off my Part-Ex with a full tank

Why would anyone need to prompt Honda when you are paying for it?

Look at the small print OTR price includes a full tank of fuel!

That is ridiculous, some people may not realise that they have paid for it and go without it

Now the dealers giving away wine and flowers sound good

mine had the fuel warning light on when I collected mine, I even made a point of asking for the tank to be full when I made my deal. I even had to pay full price for mats.

Is Dutton Forshaw the worst dealer here?

I think it is really bad that people get different deals from different dealerships and even worse that Honda Uk seem willing to help some people solve their problems whilst doing little to help others. You would think given the competition between dealerships they would be bending over backwards to win custom!
