If someone is in the seat and you drive without their seatbelt fastened you'll get a warning. Not so with the rears as you can see on the display which belts are being used. You can switch on a warning if one is unfastened though, which is very useful with the kids in the back.

I think it's working! It pinged when someone sat in with no seatbelt on for two seconds as i picked them up! It must just be me thinking that the multi-funstion display when on the seatbelt sensor should change the big seatbelt symbol, and not just the three rear ones!

Cheers for all replies!

Problem is it also pings when you put your Chinese on it, or your shopping, or your and to reach down into the glove box for a cool choccy bar, providing you have been driving long enough to re-solidify it.

How do you switch on the warning for the rear belts ?.

Good call!

I read that in the manual and thought 'what a great idea when the kids get older' Can't say I've needed it and after sitting outside checking
Mine doesn't appear to 'beep' and it's not in the dash menu options to switch it on either

The sensors are already on in mine, only visual, scroll through the mpg, av mph etc, and you get a screen showing the top view of the car, when I am in on my own it only shows the drivers seat belt done up, when someone fastens their belt in the back it shows which are connected. I hope that makes sense. Scares the hell out of people when you tell them they haven't fastened their seatbelt without turning round.

Thats fine Richie, but MC HAMMER thought you could switch an audible alarm on, for the rear belts.
