3rd party/custom Car Mats

OK, so I was too excited and forgot to 'negiotiate' car mats until it was too late. basic basic basic and i'm annoyed that all I have is some crap rubber cheap nonsense (why DO dealers scrimp on these things, the rounding out of the experience wouldn't cost them that much more per car).

So I could order a set of mats, fit them myself.

Or I could look at custom or 3rd party mats.

Anyone used these guys? I'm not a great fan of being stuff like this on the net unless I can see a similar product in real life first.. but it seems like it's them or flippin' Halfords!

Help me get some decent car mats that are cheaper than Honda's, it MUST be possible!

I looked at non Honda ones and they really aren't that much cheaper, I also forgot at the time of buying the car so went back to see the salesman and he did my a set for £40. Mines a 5 door sport.

I think the Honda mats are very good and only a few quid more than the custom ones. You also get a bracket that keeps the drivers one in place which is very useful.
Also, don't forget that due to the "magic" rear seats the rear mats are very large as they go under and will not get any that fit well at Halfords.

Have a look here.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=320104098755

They look like the real things to me. Not sure if the anchor bracket is included, so beware. And...now not sure if they are the front ones only and not actually 4 mats.

So, I've just realised that I already HAVE the bracket so.. where did the mats go? I'm thinking the salesman has pulled a fast one here, but I've had the car for a few weeks now... too late to go back and complain?

Yep I did exactly the same thing. So I guess I shall be paying an extra £40 for car mats. Got them to do a spare wheel for half-price though.

Am waiting with baited breath to see if the car comes with locking wheel nuts - Avonvale Coventry say they do, the folks on here say they don't!

Juust picked up 2.2 ex from Lookers Nottingham and it came with Locking wheel nuts, no question asked. So should do AFAIK.
