2007 model?
Hi, about to order an ES CTDI with parking sensors. Managed to get about £900 of list price
I didn't know anything about the new version! Dealer doesn't seem to know much either! Says there shouldn't be much difference, but take Jazz as an example, which gained an audio input for mp3 players etc. Anyone got any ideas if it worth waiting for? Am quite torn between the Galaxy Grey and Nighthawk Black, which would be 2006/2007 resp. Oliver |

I've been waiting on a delivery date for my EX for about 6 weeks and it has been showing end Oct/Nov (but with a * meaning not a clue). My dealer called Honda logistics for me and was told they'd run out of the 06 model in black with leather.
He was told no specification changes to the 07 civic but hopefully there may be the odd bug fix, and possibly a newer Sat Nav DVD. (is anyone tracking the DVD versions on this site? We could possibly, ahem, help each other here... Cheers PS - If anyone is wondering why I ordered a car with no delivery date then I'm on an employee ownership scheme so can wait. Sad to see my Accord go the other day (though I'd bought it off the scheme and made some cash for civic extras The 2.2 Civic would have felt great after my 2.0 accord tourer (no need for such a big car now..), mainly due to all the toys. After the POS 307 I'm driving now it will be awesome......... |

Stretch, I have the Milano red, it almost glows when it is clean, but after 5000 miles is full of minor scratches, although the Meguiars is great at reducing them. I had to wait 14 weeks or so because I wanted the red, apparantly Honda didn't anticipate the demand for the red so didn't plan to make as many. I have only ever seen 5.

Thanks Maldax and fishyuk. Nice to know that I've not missed out on anything by being slightly impatient with my order! Come on September!

Not sure what this means but when I quizzed my fleet manager yesterday about my order he said that the factory weren't accepting any orders yesterday or today, but by Monday they will re-open to orders for new build (presumably except those that have already been made) based on 2007 spec. But since for most models that makes no difference I don't think this information is very useful! Probably just means that I'll have a longer wait (no delivery date yet but my current car's lease is up at the end of Sept so if it's ready before then it'll have to sit at the dealership while I wait...
