How long can I expect to wait?
Hi I'm new on here,
Ordered my company car today, 2.2CDTi Type S with Sat Nav in nighthawk black. Haven't been given an expected delivery date yet but can't wait to get the car. Does anybody have an idea about how long I can expect to wait for delivery? Thanks |

The dealer has access to delivery dates depending on the model and colour, get them to check for you (surprised they didn't check when you ordered it!)

Rough figure would be 2-3months, just depends on a lot of things really, they tend to make them in batches, you could get lucky. Ring and find out

I didn't actually have any contact with the leasing company it was one of the office staff at work. I'll get her to find out for me tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice. |

I was given a 50 day wait for an EX 1.8 it depends what's made or on order at dealer etc as Cz says they make them in batches I think this is on colours / type (I have gathered this from looking on here)
I have just over a week to go now and every hour counts!! it's hell |

Ordered 1.8Ex 2 weeks ago and was told 4 weeks, +/- 2 weeks.
However 2 weeks prior to my order was told 2nd week of June, approx. 10 weeks. |

Ordered my 2.2 CTDi in late Feb. Picked it up at the end of March.
I DID get an expected delivery date but it was a couple of days early - which is nice. |

On March 10th I was told it was going to be delivered to the dealer in the first week of May. I went to check up on the delivery-date last friday and to my pleasant surprise it had been delivered that day. I'm now waiting for registration en some formal paperwork with the leasecompany and will be picking it up on May 1st.

Ordered my company car through Lex and have been given Monday as delivery date. Ordered two weeks ago! I picked Royal Blue and was told if I'd picked another colour such as NHB or galaxy, delivery would be even quicker.
Worth chasing if you're still waiting, as the stock is definitely out there. |

Lucky you - not living at the outskirts of Honda-civilization
Here in Trondheim (Norway) delivery estimates for a NHB 1.8 EX (Norwegian EX) has been a bit off target... Ordered the car in march 2006 and they said "you will get it in may (2006)".
In late june my dealer contacted me and told me I could get a galaxy grey EX now - ehh, or wait some time longer - because the norwegian importer had mixed up the colour and gotten me a galaxy grey one... Slightly shoken I realized I could not part with my mental inner image of me in a NHB EX and respoded "I still want a black one!". My dealer then said - "we will get you one as fast as possible..." - putting pressure on the importer etc. etc. - "...and thus can't give you an delivery date yet" August went, september went - "na, sorry, we still have no clue. Honda does not prioritize deliveries to small insignificant countries like Norway...". Well, I'm sort of stubborn so I said "I'll wait!". October, november, december, january, february. "Hey! We are guarantied to get some NHB EX's in may! We will try to get you one sooner, but worst case - may!". March, april, may then yesterday I sent an e-mail inquireing an delivery update from my new salesman (the old one quit may 1....). Today I got a phone call: "We now do have received your car! We need some time preparing it - eh, can you come in next tuesday next week to close the deal and pick up the car?" HALLELUJAH !!!! So whatever you: Don't accept "may" as delivery etimate - get them to specify year as well.... |

Thats certainly a wait and a half - but do have to ask - why on earth could'nt they import another one - not being funny but did Honda stop all exports from the UK?

Honestly this has been somewhat frustrating, but on the other hand my original contract with the dealer includes a trade-in of my current "car" - a Fiat Punto |

Finally got given a rough delivery date last week. September was the estimate, really p*****d off.
I've found out that if I order the GT model, I should expect one at the end of July/start of August so I've gone for the GT just have to pay a little bit extra out of my wages. 2 months to go!!! |
