Buying Type S GT, new or used?
Whats the best deal about for a new type S GT 1.8 black (no extras)?
Is it worth it to wait till Aug when the reg's change? Any better deals than drivethedeal about? Whats the discount honda employees get on new or used hondas? Would buying used save me much money? Thanks Si and Anne |

It's a great car. If you want one now, buy one now, if you can wait, then wait and see if any better deals come up (they might, they might not). Just don't forget it sometimes takes months for a new one to turn up!
The amount of time and money some people waste just to save a few bob is laughable sometimes. I would go to a couple of local dealers, tell them exactly what you want and how you wish to pay for it and get their best price. My advice would be to buy the car now, so you can find out why most Civic owners have a silly grin whenever they pilot their spaceships. |

Hi Psykik,
Ordered mine from Drivethedeal for a great price. I asked most of the local dealers first but none could get anywhere near it. Shame really because I would rather support the local dealer but can't ignore such a big saving. Still at least I can bring all my servicing and accessories to them. Only downside is you will have to wait for longer with delivery from Drivethedeal. |

I would say go for new
bare in mind though that the next plate change is September ( not August) and then again in March 2008 etc. |

your not gonna find many used type s gt for sale as they havent been out long and if you do i doubt you will make any great saving. You might as well order a new one and have a nice brand new car which only you have driven

There are a few Type S GT's around used, they start from £15995 and go upwards. I've seen some at £17995 which is list price new. At that money you want to have your name first on the V5
