Rear Spoiler

I am thinking about having the optional colour coded rear spoiler. Besides being colour coded, is this slighlty bigger then the standard black moulded spoiler that is standard on the Type S or any Civic? I have been looking at pics but it is hard to tell. Any comments or pics that make this clear would be much appreciated.

it is just an extra strip which clips or sticks onto the top of the original spoiler to make it colour coded. I havent got it on mine but i have heard people say it takes a bit more of your rear view away but i cant imagine it being much more though

I've been wondering if a spoiler would make the back of the civic look any less fussy (as if adding somthing would make it look less cluttered!)

Would it get ripped off in a car wash

It screw into the current spoiler at both sides and is further held down with adhesive tape, it won't come off!

Lippy posted some pictures of her silver Civic with the rear spoiler

Stock clearance - 5 door trunk spoilers

The later link includes pictures of the spoiler on a black car, which is a little pointless, but gives you an idea of what the spoiler looks like.

Ooh, the spoiler looks nice in a light colour! I ordered one for my GalGrey EX (ariving soon but not soon enough) - also without seeing it in the flesh first. Agree that it doesn't add much on a black car though.

Looks best on the light colours, likes of your silvers, blues and reds
