Every car i have ever had i have had tinted,my last 4 Hondas Crv,S2000,Accords have all been tinted allround by Honda themselves.I have been stopped by police over the years for other things and they have never questioned the tints.I was told once that as long as they can see you and you are not driving like a maniac theres no problem with tinting.I`ve always gone for Smoke which is the mid range colour.I used to do it myself years ago when glass was flat, not with todays curves. One of the reasons the rear lower plastic cannot be done is that if you wanted to remove the tint an acid is used to remove the adhesive, this would obviosly melt the plastic.I have trading in several cars back to Honda and they have said that the value doesnt alter because of tints.Only having the rear of the car tinted looks like its half finished.Get it done ,no squinting in the mid day sun.

£500 is a rip off. Go to a good quality independant window tinter and they will charge a maximum of £300 to do all round(fronts upto legal limit) and around £189 for just the rears.

Honda are just adding on a huge whack like usual.
