This is my first time on this site so be gentle with me please

We ordered my new Civic on the 25th April i was advised of a delivery date of
13 may, got the car on the 10th of May.
Car bought from Arnold Clark of Stockport.
Fantastic! dealer Fantastic car!.
readind what other people said about the delivery problems seem's we were lucky.
Can anybody advise if there are any after market spotlight kit's on the market as there is no way i am going to pay Honda's price's.

Do you mean the triangular fog lights? If so, I doubt you will find any aftermarket ones for a while yet.

Try these guy's Holdcroft_Honda they offer a discount to civinfo members and are very helpful.

If you mean the type of spotlights founs on rally cars (or chav's Vauxhall Nova's) then try Halfords

, but what on earth would they look like on a Civic?

Oh and a very warm welcome! Charles is right about no getting out, if the Civic's a spaceship, Civinfo is a blackhole!! Very addictive!

Thank's for the welcome, why would i want to leave??????? my last car was a Peugeot 307 got bored with that, before that had a Diesel focus got bored with that thought this time we would go for a bit of retro

Iwent to local stealer today as hoping to buy 2.2ex v soon and told delivery on 2.2 ex galaxy grey was a week ETD! Can't believe it!
I. not sure I could get personal loan in that time!
Best so far for £6k is 6.1% unless anyone wants to to donate!

Hopefully get car beore end of June depending on finance etc but still 1 seek even if it slips is good start!

Sorry to all those that have waited months but I've waited to get money to buy since Sept06 and not even ordered yet so I know how it feels.

Originally I was given a date of the week begining the 21st May (this week.) It was then put back a week and a few weeks later it was put back another week. Then at 4:30pm this afternoon I got a phone call to say it was at the dealers already and would be ready to pick up on Tuesday!

So it looks like whatever date you're given it can still turn up early

I thought the ES spec came with the front fogs. I certainly hope they do or the dealer will be getting an ear bashing in a fortnight.

Yes the ES has the fogs.

I think with delivery dates, as Honda seem to be selling all Hondas before they leave the factory they may be concentrating on the popular combinations.

If you order a special with factory fit options then I suspect you may be in for the long waits.
