Thumbs up new here but bought a Civic

Hi I'm Arno from Holland and just bought a Vivid blue 1.8 comfort. Hope to get it week 24-25.

Hope to learn here.

Looking for alloys now to replace the steel rims.

Have found a spare from a mazda 6 for only 25 euro so hope it fits (for 25 euro's I dare to gamble)

Are there more people from Holland here?

Arno

rims

Hi Arjan,

Just looked at your pics.... Nice but not my style I want some rims which are less open so thicker spokes or more spokes.

There's a couple of dutchies around here.

Are there any Mazda logo's on the rims you bought ? That wouldn't look to good. Better stick with the hubcaps in that case and look a bit further for some nice rims.

Congrats on your blue beauty !!!

spare

The mazda wheel I bought was a max 80km/hr one so only spare use.
It's brown and I hope I'll never have to use it.
My only doubt is the diameter of the center hole.

Hi,

I’m a soon to be Civic owner as well. I think we have the same dealer . I bought a Galaxy Grey 1.8 Sport, the dealer claims that it’s on his way from the factory to them. So I should be able to pick it up at the start of June.

dealer

Which Dealer do you have than?
We went to Jonk but that had also something to do with the car we had (or still have for a few weeks) a Seat Leon Cupra4. Jonk gave us the best price by a long way for this car.
We did testdrive in a galaxy grey 1.8 comfort nice color also but since the Leon is black we wanted a sparkling color this time.
So want to park them side by side begin of june for som pictures?

Went to Jonk aswell, in Purmerend though.

We can always meet up for some pictures. I drive a lot over the A8. I've doubted between blue or galaxy, but eventually chose for galaxy. I test drove the NHB 1.8 Sport, incredible machine. I will have to get used to the 6th gear, I almost never used it during the testdrive.

Parking them side by side is fine with me, but first we have to wait for the cars .

We started at Jonk in Zaandam but ended in Purmerend the car will be delivered there also.... maybe the same day as yours
Zaandam or Purmerend is for us just as far, we live in the midlle

It is a fine car indeed, nice looks and smooth engine.
Enginewise it's a little stap back for us now 150hp and 320Nm and soon with the Civic 140hp and 172Nm so we have to shift a little more I assume to keep the revs up. But carwise it's a giant stap forward without ending up in a SUV or dull familycar

Heya!

Amsterdam resident here (I'm originally German though, not Dutch), been living here for around 3 years now.

My dealer is Van Nieuwkerk here in Amsterdam and I'm getting my new black Civic exactly one week and 3 minutes from now on the 6th of June.

It will have its civinfo.com sticker from day 1, so maybe you'll see me driving around some time... If so, make sure you wave!

oh, and welcome to the forum!
