I'm so excited!
Hello all,
I'm so excited now. I've just had a phone call from the dealer, i've got my 07 reg plate now and he said the car will be them today or tomorrow. It's a Milano Red 2.2CDTi Sport 5 door. I've never owned a bright coloured car before, i've normally had silver or black in cars. I wanted something different this time Once in they can fit the spoiler, aluminium door garnishes, sports gearstick and mats. I'm so excited. I would love to have it this weekend but I don't think it's going to happen. If I get it sometime next week it will be in time for my long weekend All good things come to those who wait. |

I live in East Yorkshire/Humberside area.
I don't think it's really hit me yet that i'm buying a new car. Looks like i'm driving my MG ZS only for a few more days I can't wait :P I want to really look after the car too because it's so nice. I've been reading a few threads regarding keeping the car looking good. Checked out the polished bliss website it has lots of information. I'll be very very careful with the dash |

I'm picking it up tomorrow afternoon. I'll post pictures of it as soon as I can.
Thanks again to everyone who posted on this site. The posts have been very interesting and informative. They tried again one last time to sell me the Supaguard. I didn't go for it. I'll have a search through some of the posts later on to find out how to keep it looking great. |

By Guys I mean everybody. I often refer to just Guys in my posts, as in my Office, when I had to work, many, many moons ago(!), the females amongst us were always referred to as 'Guys'. It was probably a 'power' office thing! I know the imput from your good self and the many other ladies on this site is most welcomed. .....and most anticipated. Don't try that 'messing with you' bit.
Lady H. watches all my posts! Mind you, later on, round by the bike sheds......! "I just put some instant coffee in the microwave and almost went back in time!" Charles H |

More excited than ever, actually. Spent almost an hour at the dealer, then an hour fitting all my gadgets (phone, TomTom, X-Rain on the rear window, blue interior lights, white LED map-reading lights) and then an hour just driving around. Will probably do a little more driving tonight. More about my first impressions etc. a bit later when I feel like I can waste time at the computer again...
I already got some looks from people on the street. Feels great! |
