Ouch

Well phoned my stealer today as car should have been due on the week ending 24th June - just wanted to check as have booked the last 2 weeks in June off as holiday.
Well my salesperson wasn't there but the polite gent I spoke to had a look on the system and told me that the new delivery date was the week ending 1st of July.
Hmmm well a bit of a problem with that as I said to him - I'm working (and staying) in France for all of July - so got a promise for my salesperson to call me back when he's in work - tomorrow or later in week - to see what we can come up with/
Grrrr thought from everyone else's posts this was going a little too well so far.
Thought Honda had only recently got more staff to swindon to improve production?

I can feel your frustration but its only a week out from the original date so perhaps has more to do with delivery transport schedules rather than production delays?

just a thought...

Not a huge delay but I understand how it complicates matters for you. Maybe they can source a model from somewhere else for you.

Well heres an update for you guys - got a call from my salesman to tell me Honda had assigned a production number so should be at the dealers for mid way through next week and the dealer wanted a week to check the car and install the accessories - so got the free 7 day cover starting from friday29th when I should (fingers crossed) be picking up the car.
So 15 days 14 hours to go

Smile 14d 14h and counting

Lol yep 14 days and 14 hours to go
7 days for inspection and fitting - well all I can say is that hopefully any issues will be discovered in that time - otherwise guessing they will have been sitting there twiddling their thumbs - and makes no buisness sense to have a car taking up space when you could get rid of it sooner.
Hmmm not long to go hopefully
