bought my car in jul 2011 sales man told me its just been serviced so no need to be worried. car had 44k on clock .

log book shows last serv at 37k.

3 months later , only done 2k more so currently 45k. today i received a letter saying my car needs servicing??
28 for engine oil
68 for air con re gass to get rid of germs etc
and 60 to reseal any tyre.

what does the 28 engine oil exactly involve ? replacing engine oil ?

If the service was done when you bought the car why was it not stamped?

Engine oil and filter will be replaced.

As far as I know air con regas isn't required at all during any service, it's your choice whether you want to get it done or not.

And what on earth it tyre resealing?

Stock used car salesman patter, phrase No 2

"Of course it will be fully serviced when you receive it"

Pull the dipstick and look at the colour of the oil, I bet it's very dark brown instead of the new gold colour giveaway.
